Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are and Scope
NextRev Docs is the business name used by its individual owner to sell downloadable document-workflow templates from New York, United States. In this Privacy Policy, “NextRev Docs,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to that business and its owner.
This Policy applies to personal information collected through nextrevdocs.com, product inquiries, purchases, digital delivery and customer support for business customers in the United States and Canada. It does not govern a third party’s independent privacy practices.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Business contact information: your name, business name, job title, business email address, telephone number and mailing address.
- Inquiry and support information: messages, product questions, technical support requests, refund requests and other correspondence.
- Transaction information: product purchased, amount, currency, transaction date, billing country, transaction status, tax information and limited payment metadata supplied by the checkout provider.
- Website and technical information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages requested, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, security events and server logs.
- Marketing information: subscription status and interactions with messages, if you separately choose to receive product news or educational emails.
We do not intentionally receive or store full payment-card numbers. Payment details are entered directly with the payment or merchant-of-record provider displayed at checkout.
3. No Customer-Document Uploads
NextRev Docs currently sells pre-made digital products and does not ask customers to upload documents for review, editing, storage or customization. Do not email or otherwise send us client files, confidential business records, personal data sets, passwords, payment information, health information, government identifiers or other sensitive or regulated information.
If prohibited or unsolicited material is sent to us, we may delete it without review or return, restrict the sender and take reasonable steps required for security or law. Sending information we did not request does not create a professional, confidential, fiduciary or document-custody relationship.
4. How We Collect Information
We collect information:
- directly from you when you email us, purchase a product or request support;
- from the business or person authorizing you to communicate with us;
- automatically through hosting, security, email and similar technologies; and
- from payment, merchant-of-record and digital-delivery providers involved in your purchase.
5. How We Use Information
We may use personal information to:
- respond to inquiries and provide customer support;
- process, confirm and document purchases;
- deliver digital products and maintain download access where offered;
- administer product licenses and prevent unauthorized redistribution;
- manage refunds, chargebacks, tax records and accounting;
- secure, troubleshoot and improve the website and products;
- send marketing only where permitted and provide an unsubscribe method;
- comply with law and enforce our Terms & Conditions; and
- establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
6. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose limited information to:
- Checkout and payment providers: such as Stripe or a merchant-of-record platform identified at checkout, to process payments, taxes, refunds, fraud checks and billing support.
- Digital-delivery, hosting and email providers: to operate the website, deliver files, send transactional messages and provide support.
- Security and technical providers: to detect abuse, maintain availability and investigate incidents.
- Professional advisers: including accountants, insurers and lawyers subject to appropriate duties.
- Authorities or other parties: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or respond to valid legal process.
- A business successor: in connection with a proposed or completed sale, reorganization or transfer of the business, subject to appropriate protections.
A merchant-of-record or payment provider may independently determine how it handles payment, fraud, tax and compliance information under its own privacy notice. We do not control those independent practices.
We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not use or disclose personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We also do not knowingly provide personal information to data brokers.
7. Cookies and Technical Data
The website and its service providers may use cookies, local storage, server logs or similar technologies that are necessary for security, checkout, preferences and basic operation. A checkout page may set additional cookies under the checkout provider’s notice.
We do not currently describe any advertising-cookie program. If we introduce analytics, advertising or other optional tracking that materially changes these practices, we will update this Policy and provide any notice or choice required by applicable law.
8. Retention and Deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including support, license administration, tax and accounting records, fraud prevention, dispute resolution and legal compliance. Retention periods vary by record type and by the settings of providers involved in checkout, hosting and email.
We aim to remove unsolicited customer documents promptly after discovery unless temporary preservation is reasonably necessary for security, a dispute or law. Backup copies may remain temporarily until overwritten through normal provider cycles.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards reasonably appropriate to the nature and scale of the information we handle. Measures may include limiting collection, restricting access, using reputable service providers, account security, software updates and secure disposal practices. No transmission or storage system is completely secure.
10. Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion; ask questions about use and disclosure; withdraw consent where processing depends on consent; or complain to an appropriate regulator. Some information may be exempt, and we may retain records where reasonably required by law or legitimate business needs.
To make a request, email contact@nextrevdocs.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity and authority. You may unsubscribe from marketing using the link in the message or by contacting us.
11. Canadian Information and Cross-Border Transfers
If you are in Canada, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. It may therefore be accessible to courts, law-enforcement or national-security authorities under the laws of those places.
Where Canadian private-sector privacy law applies, we seek to handle personal information consistently with applicable principles concerning accountability, identified purposes, consent, limited collection, limited use and retention, safeguards, openness, access and complaint handling.
12. Business Use and Children
NextRev Docs is intended for businesses and their authorized adult representatives. It is not directed to children or offered for personal, family or household use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided it.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our products, providers or legal obligations. We will post the revised version and update the effective date. If a change materially affects information already collected, we will provide additional notice where required.
